In 1946, Roger Thirion, a chemist with a passion for literature and a loyal friend of actresses, created Stendhal Paris and launched Le Noir, the stars mascara.
Thanks to his reputation, he opened his first institute Rue Royale, in the heart of the capital. He revolutionized the codes of cosmetics in 1950 by formulating the first anti-aging cure in vials: EPITHELIUM, the brand's iconic treatment. A true technical feat and revolution in the use of care.
A VISIONARY MINDSET
Visionary and sensitive to the concerns of his customers, he formulated in 1966 1SANSEVERINA, a range based on botanical extracts.In 1980, BIO PROGRAM became the first hypoallergenic range in perfumeries and in 2001, PUR LUXE was born, the brand's cult line and its famous cashmere touch.
